WHO WE ARE

Five organisations that don't normally work together

A technical university, a youth education agency, a girls' mentoring charity, a migrant-led women's network and a digital learning institute. That mix is the point.
CZECHIA · PROJECT LEAD
Czech Technical University in Prague Logo
Runs: the Prague Forum and the Archive Lab.
One of Europe's oldest and largest technical universities, with more than 18,000 students. It leads the project, and the archival work sits here: this is where the records get read and the missing careers get pieced back together.

The project was started by Professor Zuzana Dvořáková, a senior academic who has spent her career watching how women in Czech science get overlooked — the exile of Czech Jewish women scientists in the 1930s and 40s at one end, and today's quietly closed doors at the other.
A youth education and innovation agency in Leitrim working on inclusive learning, civic education and digital storytelling, reaching over 5,000 learners a year. They've done this before: their Memory Makers project connected young people with histories of propaganda and exclusion.

They're the ones who make sure recovered history doesn't stay in a journal. It becomes a podcast, a film, a conversation with someone who can change a policy.
IRELAND
Momentum Logo
Runs: the policy seminar and the Storytelling Lab.
PORTUGAL
Inspiring Girls Logo
Runs: Role Models Across Generations, in Lisbon.
A non-profit that introduces girls to women doing the jobs they've never seen a woman do. They've reached over 5,000 girls nationwide, working with more than 100 schools and 150 companies through mentoring programmes and their Girls Can roadshows.

They bring the schools, the mentors, and years of knowing what actually makes a fifteen-year-old change her mind about her future.
A migrant-led organisation in Athens working with migrant and refugee women through culture, storytelling, education and advocacy — more than 3,000 women, girls and children from over 45 countries, and around 130 people through the doors on an average day.

Their Poetry Lab and Multilingual Library show what they do best: turning lived experience into cultural work, with migrant women as the authors rather than the subject matter.
GREECE
Melissa Logo
Runs: the Festival of Memory and Science, in Athens.
DENMARK
European E-Learning Institute Logo
Runs: both free online courses.
A specialist in accessible online learning and universal design, with a core team of eight and a network of designers, developers and teachers behind them. Since 2017 they've built 26 open online courses, taught over 20,000 students and worked with more than 160 partners.

They make sure the courses genuinely work on an old phone, with captions, in four languages, for people who may not have studied for a while.
HOW WE WORK

Nothing gets made in isolation

Every event and every resource is checked by the other partners before it goes out — is it right for young women, does it ring true to migrant women, can everyone actually use it? Each one also generates a small transferable kit so the next organisation doesn't have to start from scratch.
